Barbuda is a very special place.  Small islands typically have character and this is what makes each one different.  Barbuda stands out because of its relatively small human population and large natural areas where built developments have not yet encroached.  In this nature diary special phenomena are highlighted from time to time in an attempt to share what is special about our island.
